Selwyn Snow Resort has announced the purchase of a revolutionary snow making system which will enable snow to be made at Selwyn Snow Resort to an ambient temperature of 25 degrees. The system is currently under construction by Samson Industries in Canada and will be installed at Selwyn Snow Resort in time for the 2017 School Holidays. Angela Murdoch , General Manager of Selwyn Snow Resort said that "the fully automated system will be the first of its type to be installed at any resort in New South Wales and will operate on the New Chum chairlift bowl”. The Snoflake 25 system produces 25 metric tons of snow every 24 hours. |
