Spotlight on Four-leggeds It's All About Pets in October In case you missed it, we’re celebrating furry faced four-leggeds all month long, declaring October once again—Pet Month—including a pet focussed Guest Photo Contest and donation of all Pet Fees to our local pet heroes at CARE Network. From endless things to sniff and splash in Cox Bay, to dog dishes, towels, and treats on arrival, your four-legged will tell you it simply does not get more fun, pet-friendly and welcoming than Tofino and Pacific Sands.

FALL FOR FALL Entertainment and culture curators, 604 NOW, featured yours truly in this Fall For Fall at the Breathtaking Pacific Sands Beach Resort in Tofino article, including their Beach House stay, our onsite Surf Sister, must-try eats, local shopping, and wildlife adventure tours. [MORE] TAKEOFF TO TOFINO With BC staycations soaring, Harbour Air recently announced it is extending daily service on the Downtown Vancouver to Tofino route through 2021, including two convenient daily flights. Which means that you can be harbour-to-harbour in about one hour. [MORE] HEALTHY OUTLOOK This year, the Tofino General Hospital Foundation adapted their traditional silent auction soiree to an online Facebook fundraiser—the goal was $20,000. The community rallied and raised $103,000, which will now fund vital hospital upgrades. [MORE]

RESORT TEAM SPOTLIGHT KRISTIAN'S ON IT Meet Kristian Venceljovski from Maintenance, who joined us just 5 months ago, and has already earned Five Star Employee of the Month status for his hard-working way of simply putting his head down and getting things done. Originally from Serbia, Kristian moved to Canada a few years ago and was drawn to the west coast. Before long, he was Tofino-bound, where he's now loving the outdoors and “beautiful, open-minded people.”
