This weekend has been something else. I'm about a 20 minute drive away from Windsor UK, and we were tempted to drive out to see the Queen's funeral procession yesterday, but we figured we'd end up stuck in traffic somewhere. So we opted to watch the Queen's funeral on the telly, and were fixated to it for the entire day. One thing I have to say, the British have something to be very proud of. I don't think anyone or any country could have topped the farewell that the British gave their Queen. The military send-off was both mesmerising and at times extremely moving (cue the solo bagpiper). Wow, just wow.
What a day, and what a leader. My heart goes out to all who miss her, and who miss the mother figures in our lives.
Moving on to things British. For those of you in the UK or the EU for that matter and are dealing with "Source of Wealth" demands, here is a poll we are conducting to see how you are affected. So far it looks as though most folks are refusing to comply and moving on. What do you think? How are you dealing with the SOW requirements that are being shoved down players throats?
