• The 2017 Boutique and Lifestyle Hotel Summit is just around the corner now, and it's looking all set to be a real cracker. Now in its seventh year, the event has once again attracted a very strong cast of speakers to its comprehensive seminar agenda.
The latest names to be added include Josh Littman of Hard Rock Hotels, Robert Barnard of BDO, Mandy Saven of Stylus, Nick Turner of Bespoke Hotels, Jason Wischhoff of Dream Hotels, Zhong Xu of LightSpeed, Neeraj Handa of Cairn Group and Eva Bachmann of Meininger Hotels.
Among the most popular elements of the Summit are the hotel tours, and this year we ave got two fantastic locations lined up. Montcalm Royal London House, on Finsbury Square, has made quite a splash since its recent opening. Its mix of contemporary style and exciting F&B offers have been an instant hit, and the rooftop spaces are stunning. A more established but no less impressive property, Andaz Liverpool Street is surely the only hotel in the world where a secret Masonic temple was discovered during renovations. Now restored to its former glory, it's worth coming on the tours for this alone. Don't forget the tours are on a first-come first-served basis and are limited to 50 delegates.
