| Just a reminder, we began taking entries for our Dixie Classic this morning. It is a 2 man, 54 hole four ball event. It will be held August 11th - 13th. We will start tee times at 8:30am and 12:30pm on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. The tournament will be flighted after 36 holes and we are limiting the field to 60 teams. Cost for the tournament is $500/team. This includes a tee gift, golf, carts, continental breakfast and lunch all three days, and Carrabba's catering along with entertainment provided by the Boomer Band for you and your spouse on Saturday evening. 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place prizes will be awarded for each flight as well as an overall tournament champion prize. Payment in the form of a check or member charge is required at the time of entry to reserve your spot.
We are also looking for volunteers to be hole spotters for the event. Volunteers will be provided with breakfast and lunch as well as a volunteer gift. Next Tuesday, June 27, we are hosting a GSGA Junior tournament. They will shotgun at 8am. The range will be open to members after 8 and the course will be open to member play by 12:30. We apologize for any inconvenience. |
