• Aparium Hotel Group is a company that we have watched with interest since its formation in 2012.
In that time, Aparium has made quite a splash in the US lifestyle hotel scene, with its smartly branded and shrewdly positioned offering. Something of an all rounder in that it both develops and operates properties, it currently manages eight hotels in cities including Milwaukee, La Crosse, New Orleans, Covington, Minneapolis, Detroit, Memphis and Omaha. Further hotels in the pipeline are located in Montclair, Kansas City, and Chicago.
Aparium specialises in converting existing historic buildings in downtown areas and fashioning them in to vibrant neighbourhood hubs. Its latest project, a conversion of the former Hard Rock Hotel in Chicago adds a new twist. Located in one of the city's most iconic buildings, Aparium is taking the baton from another hotel operator, giving the property a complete new identity and image. The company's slogan is "Hotels done differently" and the St. Jane Chicago certainly promises to be very different from its former incarnation. Chalk and cheese at the Carbide and Carbon!
