Bella Kil, the 2017 Victorian Girls Champion, how does that sound? It sounds good to me! You entered the day two shots clear but had a bit of a rocky round. Did you feel like the wheels were starting to fall off? I definitely did. I couldn't concentrate at all. I was going everywhere. My shots were off, my putting was off. I said to myself just make pars, pars, pars and get my head in the game again. Tell us what hole your confidence started to come back? It never came back. I just thought 'put it on the green and two putt' that's all I was thinking. On the 18th, you knocked it pretty close and had a downhill putt for birdie. That slid 4-foot past the hole so you had to make the putt coming back to hold on for the win. Were you aware of the situation? I knew the situation, so I knew that I had to two-putt for a win. I was so nervous, I was so scared. When the putt went in I thought it was going to lip out but luckily it just dropped in for me. Is this your biggest win yet in your young golfing career? I'll say yes, yeah! |
