Several stories today have to do with removing friction from various parts of the travel experience. Delta is getting rid of the requirement to check in for flights, at least for users of its iPhone app. Airbnb is eliminating the tension that hosts and landlords sometimes experience by partnering with a developer to build apartments with sharing in mind from the get-go. And we offer a primer on more than a dozen apps that should make travel easier, or at least less stressful.
