Be at the heart of the action at BLHS2018
• For the last seven years we have kicked off the Boutique and Lifestyle Hotel Summit with delegate tours of London's most exciting hotels. We've seen the opulence of The Wellesley and experienced the cool vibe of The Hoxton and many, many more.
The tours are a great way for attendees to meet each other in an informal environment, an ice breaker which kicks the networking element of the Summit off in fine style.
But this year we are going to be doing something a little different. To reflect the increasingly blurred lines between hospitality offers, we are expanding this year's tours to include a wider angle view of a neighbourhood. We'll be looking at what the hip enclave of Shoreditch has to offer the traveller, in terms of where to stay, where to work, where to shop and where to eat and drink.
We'll be starting at The Curtain, the latest venture from Gansevoort's Michael Achebaum. More than just another hotel, The Curtain features a private members club, music venue and co-working space, as well as the amazing Red Rooster restaurant from chef Marcus Samuelson.
Then we'll move on to the ground-braking Boxpark, a shipping container pop-up mall for independent and global fashion and lifestyle stores and F&B outlets. This is where many of London's food trends are first discovered before they hit the High Street - it's a really vibrant scene, and great fun.
There will also be a third exciting venue - to be announced shortly - before we move on to the Montcalm Royal London House for a drinks reception, the BoHos awards presentation and then an afterparty at a secret venue.
