• There's just over a week to go until the eighth Boutique and Lifestyle Hotel Summit gets under way in London, and the excitement is building. This year we have tried to ensure the Summit echoes the fascinating and fast-moving trends within hospitality - the increasingly blurred lines between different accommodation offers and the evolving demands of modern travellers.
Among the themes that will be discussed are the rise of technology, Brexit, the challenges facing owners and developers, wellness and mindfulness, F&B trends, finance, the sharing economy and much more. As hospitality evolves so must our events, and this year's Summit will be the most immersive and interactive yet. The 'catchbox' microphone will be flying around the room so the audience can get involved in the discussions whenever they want to contribute, and for the first time we have introduced a series of workshop discussions, where we will break the room down in to smaller groups, led by experts in there fields, to allow the sharing of ideas and experience.
The BoHos - the Boutique Hotel Guest Experience Awards - in partnership with Guest Revu and Glion Institute of Higher Education, are back for a second year. The BoHos were judged on guest feedback and reviews - surely the most potent indicator that a hotel is serving its customers well. All this and a fascinating tour of hospitality and F&B concepts in Shoreditch, a drinks reception and numerous networking opportunities - don't miss your chance to be there.
