• Bespoke Hotels, the UK's largest independent hotel group with more than 200 properties under management, has spread its wings overseas once more with the launch of Bespoke USA. After launching Bespoke Hotels International in 2015 with the aim of addressing "a growth in interest from international markets looking for a high quality and competent British operator", Bespoke has now partnered with broughtonHOTELS, an operator of independent, boutique hotels with a portfolio of 18 managed properties across the US to form Bespoke USA.
The new venture is working to establish a pipeline of acquisitions, joint venture opportunities, and management contracts throughout the region. Larry Broughton, founder and CEO of broughtonHOTELS, is hoping the deal will bring a touch of British style to America: "We are thrilled to be teaming up with Bespoke Hotels," said "Our companies share core values, common vision, and a profound entrepreneurial and creative flair, which I am certain will bring demonstrable value to the North American market," he said.
