• The creation of The Assemblage brand has to be one of the most unusual in hospitality history. Colombian entrepreneur Rodrigo Nino's new co-living and co-working concept has two properties now open in NYC and several more in the pipeline.
The properties to date have been developed with the help of crowdfunding, a concept that Nino has helped to bring in to the mainstream of New York real estate.
But it is Nino's personal story and experiences which have gone in to creating The Assemblage and its ethos - to bring people together to "explore the evolution of humanity through positive impact".
It's a fascinating story and a really interesting brand. BHN's Piers Brown was lucky enough to stay at one of the Assemblage properties recently, and to hear about Nino's remarkable journey firsthand.
