| | | | A sustainable Algarve
Portugal has been a favoured holiday destination for northern European travellers for decades now, and over the last couple of years it has enjoyed something of a resurgence, as Lisbon and the Algarve have seen a stream of cool new hotels opening.
The Residential Tourism, Resort and Sustainability Conference, which takes place on Friday 23 November 2018 at the Anantara Vilamoura Resort Hotel, is a forum to debate how to create a sustainable Algarve tourism destination.
Ten years after the start of the global financial crisis and now around three years into the recovery and expansion phase of the market, the conference will address strategic aspects of the tourism segment within the context of the Algarve tourism economy, a sustainable development strategy for the destination and the market's inherent economic cycle.
The event is hosted by Andrew Coutts, and co-organised by his company ILM Tourism & Hospitality Real Estate Group Portugal and digital agency Dengun.
