On Oct 18, BC is holding annual ShakeOut drills, but also rest easy knowing Pacific Sands is the first and only Tofino resort with an Evacuation Plan and High Ground Assembly Area.  JEREMY KORESKI'S NEW GALLERY Tofino's celebrated outdoor photographer—Jeremy Koreski—has been capturing surfing, fishing and the culture of the coast most of his life. You can find his work displayed in-suite at Pacific Sands, for sale online, and now, at his new Tofino gallery.  PETS "SAY CHEESE" IN OCTOBER Each month, we invite guests to capture pics of their stay and enter our Monthly Photo Contest for a chance to win a 2-night Getaway back at Pacific Sands, including wine on arrival and more. For Oct, it's all about our 4-legged guests with a Pet Photo Contest.

RESORT TEAM SPOTLIGHT JOLLY GOOD HELEN! Meet Helen Chacon, our Guest Services Agent that's landed from the UK. Guests voted her Five Star Employee of the Month for her "polite, kind and patient service." No surprise with that sweet smile! As you can tell, Helen is a climbing, hiking, and all-around outdoor enthusiast. She wanted to experience a Canadian adventure, and Tofino beckoned. Welcome to the wild west coast, Helen!
