| | | | Let the BoHos begin!
• Don't forget the entry period for the 2019 BoHos - the Boutique Hotel Guest Experience Awards - opens today and runs until January 31st.
The BoHos reward UK and international boutique, lifestyle and hybrid hotels which provide the very best in guest experiences. They are unique in that the winners are not decided by judges, academics or social popularity contests and votes, but by the people who matter most - each hotels' own guests.
Each hotel's online reviews and guest feedback is collected over a three-month period using services provided by BoHos' official partner, GuestRevu, or another guest feedback software provider. This feedback is then independently aggregated, evaluated, and ranked by students and faculty from the Department of Tourism & Hospitality at Bournemouth University in the UK.
A combination of the following is taken into account when calculating a hotel's overall score:
• Online reviews from review sites and booking engines worldwide
• Direct guest feedback gathered via email questionnaires
This gives a complete and unbiased picture of the guest experience provided at each participating hotel.
If you would like to participate, but don't have a guest feedback solution in place GuestRevu, is offering participants complimentary use of its software for the duration of the awards. There is no cost to enter the awards and the entry process is quick and straightforward.
The awards are held in conjunction with the Boutique + Lifestyle Hotel Summit, Europe's only B2B boutique and lifestyle hotel conference. All BoHo Awards entrants will receive a discount on Summit tickets, with shortlisted properties invited to attend the Summit at no cost. The winners of the 2019 BoHo Awards will be announced at a gala ceremony held on the night of the Summit - date and venue to be confirmed soon.
