For the second consecutive year, the Card Player Poker Tour has joined forces with The Venetian in Las Vegas, Nevada for a December DeepStack poker tournament series. The DeepStack Showdown Poker Series will run through Sunday, Dec. 16, and boasts more than $1 million in guarantees. With 30 total events, there is sure to be something for poker players of every stripe. DeepStack Showdown buy-ins start at $80 and go as high as $3,500.
The highlight of the series, of course, is the $500,000 guaranteed CPPT main event, where truly hungry poker players come to make their mark. This is a three-day big blind ante tournament that begins Dec. 14 and features a $3,500 buy-in. Players begin the tournament with some truly deep stacks – 40,000 in chips – and enjoy 60-minute blind levels. This peerless event, in tandem with the famous hospitality and amenities of The Venetian, is the must-attend poker event poker players have been waiting for.
Players will have plenty of chances to win their main event seat at a discount with several satellite options. The Venetian will be running $400 mega satellites on Dec. 12, 13, and 14.
