TIME TO REFLECT Celebrating 47 years of friends, family and legendary stories. It was April of 1973 when the Pettinger family rolled up their sleeves to take on running Pacific Sands Beach Resort, including 17 cottage/lodge units. Fast forward 47 years to 122 suites and new ownership under the Nelson family, and the legacy continues. While the resort has certainly changed over the years, the values it was founded on have not. From vacations and weddings to the ashes of loved ones, we’ve shared in the lives of families that have been coming for generations. During this extraordinary time, as we all press pause to stay home and beat COVID-19, we are reflecting on just how interconnected we all are. And how important it is that we pull together, even as we stay apart. We can’t wait to welcome you back again soon! RESORT TEAM SPOTLIGHT SWEET ELIZA From guests to co-workers, "sweet" is the word that keeps coming up to describe our Room Attendant Eliza Reyes. Add to that dedicated and hard-working, and we are excited to award her Five Star Employee of the Month votes and kudos. Originally from Tarlac City, Philippines, Eliza loves Tofino, nature, and cooking. Her specialty is traditional Filipino dishes, and no surprise, she's really good at it. Congrats Eliza!
