This August, the Card Player Poker Tour will venture to the Gulf Coast for its inaugural stop at the beautiful Scarlet Pearl Casino Resort in D’Iberville, Mississippi. The series will run from August 2-13 at the 68,000-sq. ft. casino which opened in December of 2015, and will feature a Complimentary Dinner Buffet available to CPPT players in the Big Slicks Poker Room on Saturday, August 5 and 12, at 6:30 p.m.
The 14-event series kicks off Wednesday, August 2 and wraps up Sunday, August 13 with the conclusion of the main event. The tournament schedule is chock-full of variety, with games such as no-limit hold’em, Big O, stud eight-or-better and pot-limit Omaha. Players can choose from a $130 survivor tournament, a $130 ante only tournament, and even a $70 double shootout. Anyone who manages to take down one of the first 12 events on the schedule will also receive a seat into the main event!
The Scarlet Pearl Casino Resort’s $100,000 Guarantee Big Slicks Poker Classic, which will be featured as part of the Card Player Poker Tour, is a great $360 buy-in Main Event with a whopping five separate starting flights. It will begin Thursday August 10, and continue with both morning and night flights on Friday and Saturday.
If the $360 buy-in is out of your bankroll’s comfort zone, don’t fret. Scarlet Pearl has all players covered with numerous satellites options. Every Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday at 6 p.m., you can score your seat into the main event for just $70. The satellites continue well into the series schedule with opportunities on August 4, as well as August 7-11.
