• Our exclusive interview with Liutauras Vaitkevicius, the general manager of Good Hotel London, is a remarkable and uplifting read.
The property itself is a great story, a hotel which prides itself on providing employment and training for local people, which donates its profits to a charity, and which just happens to be a floating former detention centre for illegal immigrants in Amsterdam!
Since crossing the North Sea to London, the property is really making its mark, in no small way due to the contribution of Vaitkevicius, a progressive young GM who was attached to the Good Hotel by its "vision, compassion, and endless optimism". "It is the never-ending balancing act between doing good for the world and doing good business that keeps our entire team motivated and moving forward each and every day," he says.
Don't miss the chance to hear Liutauras present a case study about this fascinating property, at best month's Boutique and Lifestyle Hotel Summit in London (May 21 and 22). Click here to find out more and buy tickets.
