23 Years Of Casinomeister   Word from the Meister Dear reader 23 years - yep this week marks the 23rd anniversary of Casinomeister. And man, what a trippy twenty-three years it's been. As some of you may know, I started this site as a hobby website in June 1998, seeing if it would get any traffic. I was working as a project manager for a translation firm in San Diego at the time, and we had a client who operated a land based casino there, and was hoping that I could give them some credence by making a list of good casinos (like theirs) and differentiating them from the unlicensed rogue no pay casinos coming out of the woodwork. So I did this, and it grew slowly at first - it was pretty cool watching the traffic grow... 30 maybe 40 people per day. That was true excitement. I was connecting to people not only in the US but from Hong Kong, Sweden, Germany, anywhere on the planet that had a dial-up connection to the Internet.     And thus Casinomeister began...and the rest is Internet history. I will be writing up some articles this month about my reflections over the past 23 years concerning this wild and whacky and sometimes excruciatingly frustrating industry.
